my practice

Darcy Psychiatry, PLLC

My integrative telepsychiatry private practice blends evidence based medicine and holistic approaches to empower individuals.

I help 25-60 year olds improve their confidence and align core values with goals by offering individualized treatment plans, including medications, nutraceuticals, and psychotherapy.

In addition to private care, I also provide psychiatric treatment for individuals coping with emotional and psychological challenges following work-related injuries, through the North Carolina Industrial Commission.

Together, we can navigate life transitions, explore cultural identity, and overcome depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma for a life of purpose and connection.

Now accepting new patients.

My philosophy

Pong Xiong, MDIntegrative Psychiatrist

I believe healing is a complex process that requires honesty, compassion, and patience. Everyone deserves an individualized approach to finding effective treatments.

My journey into psychiatry was driven by a desire to bridge cultures and provide holistic, patient-centered care.

Growing up practicing Shamanism and Eastern medicine alongside Western practices, I saw how integrating these approaches can honor diverse values and foster more comprehensive healing.

The loss of my brother and the cultural barriers my family faced in his care inspired me to become a physician specializing in complex mental health conditions, combining evidence-based psychopharmacology, various psychotherapy modalities, and integrative practices.

"Dr. X is the first psychiatrist who has truly taken the time to understand me—not just my symptoms, but my culture, my values, and how they shape my mental health. She never assumes, never rushes, and always makes sure I feel heard and respected. For the first time, I have a provider who sees me as a whole person, not just a diagnosis."
Sofia M., 36 years old
"I’ve always been sensitive to medications, and past providers made me feel like I just had to ‘push through’ side effects. Dr. X took a completely different approach—she actually listened. She helped me understand my body’s response to medication, explore alternatives like nutraceuticals, and find a treatment plan that worked with me, not against me. With her guidance, I felt empowered, not pressured, about my mental health journey every step of the way."
Maya D., 28 years old
"Before working with Dr. X, I felt stuck—trapped in the same cycles, struggling with emotions I didn’t fully understand. Through therapy, she’s helped me connect the dots, recognize patterns, and develop coping skills that actually work. I’ve not only learned how to manage my emotions, but I’ve also strengthened my relationships and finally feel like I have control over my life again."
Ryan T., 54 years old
